Our Neighborhood Trick or Trunk!

So I am the Activities Chairman in our ward and planned an amazing outdoor Tick or Trunk and carnival, but the weather was so unpredictable that I had to decide at the last minute to move it to church.  It was a good thing we did because an hour later it poured rain.  We also only planned on only 200 people and there ended up being 350 to 400 people.  It was our biggest turn out ever.  Everyone said they had a blast so I think it turned out OK. Here we are in our Halloween attire. Unfortunately Grant is still in Guam so he missed out on the fun.
Chili, hot dogs, and homemade rootbeer. Yum!
Marissa with the young women!  The youth ran all of our games for the carnival. They were so cute with the kids! My favorite game was wack a decon.

The youth did a dance number to the Ghostbuster song.  It was really cute!

Here is Austin on the top ready to do some stunts.

This costume was awesome!  I had to have my picture taken with him.

Although the rain spoiled my plans it left a beautiful double rainbow for us to enjoy.  It was an amaxing sight.

Horsley Family Photos for 2010

Our Family pictures for 2010 turned out really cute.  Although it is really hard to set the camera and then run into the picture. I never know how I look. I can't believe how beautiful my kids are.
The kids having a little fun during the shoot!

Grant's Birthday!

Grant had never ridden in a limo before so for his Birthday I pulled some strings and got a limo for the night.  We invited some of our close friends to go to dinner with us at Ruby River.  We had a blast!

He loved it and felt so important.

Dinner at Ruby River.
Our limo driver Tommy was so sweet that after he brought us home he took all the kids in the neighborhood for a long ride.  They were thrilled.
We went to dinner for Grant's birthday as a family to Mimi's Cafe.
Grant's parents made him a special dinner for his birthday.  He also got an awesome soft blanket that we absolutely love. Here we are trying it out together.

Duct Tape Day at School!

So on dut tape day at school you make an outfit out of duct tape.  I thought they looked adorable!

Bre's Birthday in Las Vegas!

Bre wanted to go to Las Vegas with her friends for her 18th birthday.  Grant and I chaperoned of course.  We had a blast!

Ian, Bre, Angela, and Anthony Hit the town.
We went to Blue Man Group while we were there.  The poncho section of course. It was a blast! It's a show you have to see when you are in Vegas!
