Shopping, BYU Game, and Tree Decorating.

I use to shop Black Fridays and get up super early for the deals, but now I just go out later in the day and I usually get everything I am looking for.  Here we are going into Sam's Club stopping at the heater on the way in.  Bre thought is was funny that all three of us stopped at the same time to enjoy the warmth that she got a picture of it.

The next day was the BYU  UTAH game.  As usual we had a party.  We had both UTAH and BYU fans which makes it so much more fun.  I bet you can guess who we were cheering for.  Check out Austin's forehead.  He was so proud of his art work.  It was a great game that went into over time, but BYU won in the end.

After the game Marissa helped me decorate our Christmas.  There was less fighting this time.  She did a great job!

Thanksgiving with the Honeys!

I don't know how it happens, but every year I seem to be put in charge of our family holiday get togethers.  This year was no different.  We had Thanksgiving at my church where we ate and laughed and ate and laughed, and ate and laughed.
Look how cute Justine is!  She is adorable!

Here is Mandi ready to have her baby at any time.

Right before we ate Lace and Leland announced their engagement.  We were so excited for them!

Shane wanted to give a kiss for the camera.  Rand didn't like that!

No Thankgiving dinner is complete without an earwig!  LOL

After we ate and cleaned up we played a little friendly game of Honey Volleyball.  It can get crazy at times, but it is always a blast!

This was so adorable!  He was so sad and then when he knew I was taking his picture he posed for the picture. It was so fun to be together for the Holidays.  I love my family and I am so thankful for them.

Military Training

Before he goes to Afghanistan Grant went to combat training.  Here he is with his squadron.  He learned a lot of things to keep him alive if things got bad. Scary thought, but reality.

Pool Blues!

We were so excited to get our rock in around our pool.  It is so pretty!  It's finally all coming together, but then we found out that the pool was losing water and we needed to find out where so we could repair it.  Of course this is a problem seeing as how the pool was 39 degrees.  Grant called up my sister's husband Marty and asked if he would like to do some scuba diving in our pool.   I thought they were crazy!  Of course Marty was excited for the adventure.

Here they are suiting up.  They had to do it after Marty got off of work so it was dark and cold!  It had just snowed the night before.  Like I said....they were crazy!

The checked everything and couldn't find anything which is good news.  Grant tightened some screws on the stairs and ladder and we think that will solve it. We will have to watch it and see.

Here they are just getting out of the pool.  Almost frozen to death. They were in the freezing water for over 25 minutes.

Seriously....Grant is going to kill me, but they jumped into our double headed shower to warm up.  I had to get some pictures. They gave a kiss for the camera! LOL

Reality!

Ok....I know that sometimes you read everyone's blogs and you think that their lives are perfect.  Let me assure you that mine is not.  Here we are trying to decorate for Christmas and the kids only wanted to fight and argue. They were not happy and didn't appreciate me taking their pictures to document it. It was tough, but by the end of the night they were laughing again.

Cute Families!

I love to take pictures and these two beautiful families asked me to take theirs. I was so excited to do it. I always get nervous worrying that they won't like them, but I was wrong. They loved them. I still have a lot to learn. Here are a few pics I took. The 2nd family had 25 people which was a huge challenge for me, but great experience.
