Wow it has been a while!

Wow.... it has been a while since my last blog. A lot has happened, but I just haven't had time to sit down and write. I have 15 minutes and I am I going to see what I can do in that time.
Ok, here goes....
Big news at the Horsley home ...Bre passed her driving test and now we are just waiting until her birthday to get her license. Yippee! I can't wait to have another driver in the house. We also sold the ford focus because she was a crazy driver in it. She can't drive a stick to save her life. Of course when she drives an automatic she is awesome! So if you know of any cute inexpensive cars let us know. Pictures I took of Bre! She is so pretty!
Let's see....
Good thing....Grant is not leaving with the military until the fall. I am very happy about that because we have so many things planned this summer and he needs to be here. Of course I will be a mess in the fall. Until then I try not to think about it. :)
Fun Thing....For my birthday Grant took me to Park City for the weekend where we enjoyed sushi and movies.
Proud moment...Austin and Breanna were recently called to be the presidents of their young men and young women classes and Marissa was also called to serve in her young womens presidency.
Touching Time...I had a wonderful mother's day. My family was so sweet to me. They made me breakfast and a steak dinner. I felt really loved. I am so blessed to have such a fun loving family. The nap in the hammock was my favorite.
Frustrating event...We had to replace the tile we just laid in our bathroom because of a water leak. It ruined the floor so we had to take up all the tile we laid and replace the sub floor and then retile. Fun huh?! Life is like that. You think you are doing good and something happens that drives you nuts. I just expect it now!
Stressful and bite my nails moment...Austin is the pitcher and first baseman for his baseball team. He is amazing! I am a mess when it is a full count and he is pitching.
Fun for the kids...The twins got season passes to Lagoon so you know who is going to be playing all summer. (Sometimes I wish I were a kid still)
Pull out my hair moment...My new car was in the shop for about two weeks getting things fixed. That really sucked!
Emotionally draining moment...I helped my mom sign up my step father for Hospice which is a blessing and really sad at the same time. That means the end is soon. She is amazing! She just keeps going and doing what she can to make his life comfortable right up until he dies. I love you mom.
Self discovery moment...The thing I have been thinking about the most lately is how blessed I am and how I am really trying to be a better person and learn how to love myself. I have been reading a book called "The cost of winning" and it has really made me take a closer look at how I am wasting my time trying to be good at things that don't really matter in the end. It gives me a whole new out look on life.
Fun, creative moment... Last week I took my sister-in-law's sister's engagement pictures. What a blast!

Too many cute pictures to choose from. I am so happy for them!
And last, but not least a Pioneering moment...I just got through giving a presentation to my whole school on my $9,000 of new technology. No one has it in our school and only a few have this technology in our district. I have to admit I was pretty scared, but it went well. They were all impressed and are ready to purchase the equipment for their own rooms.Interactive White Board! It is amazing! You have to see it to believe all the cool things it can do.
This is a Personal Response System. I have 32 of them. They are so awesome. My students can answer questions and send them to the computer where I can instantly view if they understand concepts or not. I can use this information to grade or put into graphs to show the class what they missed. I love it and they love it. Isn't Adam cute. He is one of my students.
My LCD projector finally got mounted. Love it!I can control the front board anywhere in the room with this pad. The kids love to use it.This is a document camera. I can show my students anything I want and it will project it digitally on to the screen. It makes showing the class how to do things a snap!
