I can't believe it is almost done!

Wow! I can’t believe the house is almost built. I still can’t believe we may have a new home in a week. We are scheduled to close on August 7th and hopefully everything goes smooth. It is truly a dream home for us. Here you go Lisa….finally I got the pictures on. More will follow when it is all done.

Hardwood floors and cabinets are being put in.

Master Shower. It's huge with two shower heads.

We want to build a pool. Here is the first dig.

Austin and Marissa get braces!

Marissa and Austin got their braces this week. I can’t believe how fast my kids are growing up. They look so cute with them on….They some how look older. Poor Austin, not only did he have to get his top braces on, but he had a gum graft done as well. Apparently he brushed his teeth so well that he brushed away some of his gums. In order to get the braces on his bottom teeth he had to have a gum graft done. They take tissue donated and implant it into his gums. The poor kid looks like a chip monk after the procedure. He is so swollen. He is recovering well, but it has been hard for him. He is really tough. We forget some times we can't make him laugh or he will pull out his stitches.

Honey Annual Lake Outing!

(Me, Lace, Daysha, Bre, and Paige)

The Honeys get together every summer for a fun day at the lake. We always have a blast with siblings and cousins. The newest thing this year was the tube of death (AKA the Paparazzi). I told my brother to take it easy on me, but of course there is no mercy for his sister. I walked away with bruises and a little blood, but a lot of fun memories. Bre peed a few times because she was laughing so hard. My favorite was the water torpedo. You can’t help but feel like a kid when you ride it. It is a blast!

Cute Marissa!

Diane, Marissa, Justine, and Preston can't wait to ride.

Ralph!

Meet Ralph…I read some where that small breeds of dogs were once used to catch small rodents. I thought it was a strange thing. I couldn’t picture my two Chihuahuas catching anything, but I was wrong. At our Las Vegas home they cornered this poor mouse and played with it hurting his leg and causing it to bleed through its mouth. We put it in the front yard under a tree hoping it would be alright. The next morning it was still there in the middle of the grass just looking at me. Anyone who knows me knows I can’t just leave an animal that needs help so I went to Wal-Mart and bought a clear Tupperware, saw dust, and food for the mouse. I figure the least we could do is try and nurse it back to help. So we kept it and after 4 days of rest and food Ralph was ready to return home. Hear are a few pics. Isn't he cute.

Boo looks guilty as we get the mouse settled.

My Baby Girl is All Grown Up!

They always tell you that your kids grow up fast, but I never thought it would really happen until now. I can't believe my sweet baby Bre is going to be a senior this year. Who knew I could have such a beautiful, smart daughter. I wish I could stop time. I love this age. I am so proud of her and what an amazing person she has become. Here are some pics we took while we were here in Las Vegas. We decided one afternoon to go up to Mount Charleston to take pictures. We found this awesome old abandoned house to take photos at. Of course the police showed up to tell us we were trespassing. What a surprise! We always have a story when we go do photos. Seriously...Bre never takes a bad picture.

A little Rock Band Anyone?

The night we got back from Utah our kids missed us so much they wanted to celebrate with a little rock band! Seriously....I'm not as good as my kids are, but I can hold my own. Of course I am concentrating do hard that I look retarded doing it! LOL

The kids showing off their Musial skills!

Wow, this house is going up fast!

Grant and I took a quick trip to Utah to check on the house. I can't believe it is all coming together. It's scary to see if all of the colors you pick will turn out. So far..it is gorgeous. They are laying tile , doing finish work, laying the wood floors, and painting this next week. When we are in town next week I expect an almost finished house. I can't wait! Here are a few pics.
Grant's parents came up to see the progress. They loved it!
Ok...This is funny...The outhouse outside of our house is called the Honey Bucket. My friends think this is hilarious since my maiden name is Honey. So we had to get a quick picture of it.
