Animal Lover!

Anyone who knows me knows I love animals. This week has been a hard week for us. We found out our puppy we gave to the neighbor next door died and Lucky, our cat, has been missing for two weeks. We love that cat! We are all very sad, but we will remember her as the cat that survived 40 minutes in the dryer and could scare off the biggest dog in the neighborhood.

Buzzer Beater!

Austin's last basketball game was a nail biter. Both teams were undefeated and the scoring was close the entire game. They even went into over time. The score was 26 to 25 with Austin's team down a point. They took a time out with 2.8 seconds left on the clock. They threw the ball in and passed it to Austin who took a shot just inside the 3 point line at the last second. He made it!! The crowd went wild. Of course he ran around the court with his hands in the air and the team jumped on him. It was a great game! Austin smiled for two days striaght. He told me I needed to put this on the blog. Of course I do!

A New Car!

We have had many snow storms here in Utah. One storm last week caused one driver to lose control and come over four lanes on the highway where he hit Grant and then smashed into the cement barrier. Sad to say the van took a huge hit. We are so grateful that Grant was not hurt! More good news.... we ended up buying a new car. Take a look.

Tragedy struck the Horsley family when Grant's cousin was killed in here apartment in Bountiful, Utah. We loved her and are grateful to have known her. She truly had a great spirit and a love for everyone. She will be missed.

Basketball Season Has Begun!

This year is an exciting new year for basketball with Grant being Austin's coach for the first time. The preseason has started out awesome. They are undefeated.Nice Lay Up!

We had a great New Year's Eve. We spent the day skiing and snowboarding with cousins at Wolf Mountain. It was a blast! We spent the evening playing Wii with our friends the Kammermans until the New Year arrived. What year is it?
